With temperatures rising, spending Friday nights out on the town is a viable option once again. Conway Downtown Alive is adding the “life” back into nightlife with their Groovin’ on the Green concert series. For three Fridays during the month of May, you can enjoy live music from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Town Green in Conway. The event is made possible through a partnership between Conway Downtown Alive and Coastal Carolina National Bank (CCNB) and Palmetto Chevrolet, with additional support from HTC and Lawson Family Dentistry. 

The event will feature different bands each night, with the lineup including The Special Blend Experience, The Bailey Road Band and Sawgrass. In addition to the musical talent, Chicora Car Club will host a classic car cruise-in each night and award a People’s Choice trophy. 

Groovin’ on the Green is free and open to the public. Those attending are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the concert.
