The Myrtle Beach Invitational basketball tournament is back this November for its second year
The inaugural Myrtle Beach Invitational was held in 2018, and the tournament will return to the Grand Strand this November. Held at Coastal Carolina’s HTC Center, this early-season Division I college basketball tournament is chock full of exciting hoops.
The tournament, which will be held November 21, 22 and 24, will feature a bracket format with 12 games over the three days. Eight teams will take part in the Myrtle Beach Invitational. The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will host Baylor, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, Ohio, Tulane, Utah and the 2018 National Champions, Villanova.
Seating for the tournament is general admission separated into two tiers—Premium Sideline and Baseline. The tiers correlate with different arena sections, and seating will be first-come, first-served. Visit the website for ticket information, including the option to purchase an all sessions pass. Keep in mind that the HTC Center adheres to a clear bag policy.
With big names in college hoops gracing the beach for this tournament, this is a great chance to catch some exciting basketball right in our own backyard. The UCF Knights defeated Western Kentucky to take home the title in last year’s tournament. Come see who will be crowned champ in 2019.
