The seventh annual Couture for the Cure, hosted by the ladies of The Little White Dress, will return for a night of fashion for a good cause. Held at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes, Couture for the Cure is a bridal fashion show and fundraiser. Proceeds raised will go to Caring in Our Lifetime, whose mission is “to provide financial assistance with medical expenses to women who are affected by this insidious disease.”
October marks breast cancer awareness month, and Couture for the Cure aims to help raise awareness. After skin cancer, breast cancer is the second most common cancer among woman and the second leading cause of death. Take this chance to be a part of an exciting event to help women in our own community.
This year’s theme is “Romantic Revolution” and will feature a cocktail hour followed by two incredible main events. See the hottest trends in bridal couture and formal wear on the runway. The night will also include music and a plated dessert. The biggest stars of the show will be some of the runway models who themselves are cancer survivors.
