The Myrtle Beach Art Museum’s Annual Collectors’ Event is back for its 11th year
The Franklin G. Burroughs and Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum is excited to announce their 11th Annual Collectors’ Event. This year’s auction will feature a new venue and a generally revitalized approach to the fundraiser. The auction will feature 100 pieces of unique, original artwork from artists that have been recognized at the local, regional and national level.
This year’s event will begin with a two-week preview period during which patrons can see the art on offer. Patrons will also be able to access artwork previews and artist biographies online, so the event is accessible to nearly everyone that wishes to take part. From February 9-26th, the featured art will be on display at the new HTC Aspire Hub in Myrtle Beach Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The auction itself will be held virtually via Zoom on February 27.
The Collectors’ Event is a great way for both seasoned and novice art collectors to add to or begin collecting priceless pieces of art. Proceeds benefit the Myrtle Beach Art Museum and will allow them to provide unique exhibitions, as well as interactive, educational and creative program opportunities for South Carolinians of all ages. The Myrtle Beach Art Museum is dedicated to being one of South Carolina’s finest visual art museums, and your ticket purchase can directly help this cause.
Tickets are available to the first 100 buyers; every ticketholder will receive an original piece of art created and donated by a community of talented artists. These pieces are often valued much higher than the price of the ticket, so this is one exclusive opportunity you will not want to miss.
The virtual auction is sure to be high-energy and fun for all that participate. Be sure to visit The Myrtle Beach Art Museum’s website for more information.
