Walnut Tea Cookies from Pawleys Island Bakery

Ingredients: 

1/2 pound of unsalted butter 
1/2 cup of powdered sugar 
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 
1/4 teaspoon salt 
3/4 cup ground walnuts 
Extra powdered sugar for dusting 

Directions: 

Cream the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla together until light and fluffy, then add the flour, salt and walnuts. Mix just until smooth. 

Preheat oven to 350°. Portion 1 1/2 ounce (+/-) balls. Place the balls on a lined baking pan. Bake until golden brown, approximately 15 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar immediately when done. Let cool on the baking pan completely.
