Get in the Irish spirit with the city of North Myrtle Beach

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in true Irish style with the city of North Myrtle Beach! This free event is one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day events on the Grand Strand, attracting over 30,000 people each year.

The main event, the St. Patrick’s Day parade, will begin its festive stroll down Main Street in North Myrtle Beach at 9 a.m. sharp. This televised event will feature over 100 smartly decorated floats and displays.

Afterwards, the festivities will continue from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a multitude of Irish-themed offerings for patrons to enjoy. There will be over 150 vendors in attendance, including food, beverage, and arts and crafts booths. While you’re perusing what’s available, beware: street entertainers and leprechauns abound.

If you’re planning on bringing any “wee” ones, there’s also a kid’s area with games and rides for them to enjoy. Plus, there’ll never be a dull moment with three stages of live entertainment, featuring some of WPDE’s finest local TV personalities. Before you leave, be sure to purchase a souvenir T-shirt from the Information/Parks and Recreation tent to remind you of the day’s festivities.
