They’re baaack—the holidays. But before gobblers, toast to goblins.

Scary, but true: the holidays are looming. Before you throw your head under the covers, take heart—Halloween, arguably the year’s most amusing celebration, is sneaking up behind you. What better way to throw caution to the wind than with a sinfully good Halloween cocktail?

October 31 is a sensory experience—and allows its adult revelers to indulge in spirited foods and beverages reminiscent of childhood, or even the macabre. (Bloody Mary, anyone?)

This year, sweeten the pot with this crafty toddy—but be forewarned: It’s frighteningly delicious.

Candy Corn Cocktail

Combine the vodka and candy corn in an airtight container. Set aside for at least three hours; strain. Mix 4 ounces of infused vodka, 2 ounces orange liqueur, the lemon juice, and egg white in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well for at least 30 seconds. Strain into glasses and serve with candy corn.

Meal: 
Beverages

½ cup candy corn
1 ½ cups vodka
2 oz. orange liqueur
Juice of ½ lemon
1 large egg white
Candy corn and pineapple for garnish

For this recipe, use your favorite vodka
(and buy a few extra bags of candy corn to garnish
. . . and nibble).
