White Clay will age well, into 2026. James Suckling gave it a 92-point rating.

Established in 1983, L’Ecole continues with second generation leadership, creating age-worthy single vineyard Bordeaux blends that capture the essence of each unique vineyard. This dry Chenin Blanc is smooth and savory with a perfumed nose of tropical fruit, peach, honey, wet stone and ginger. On the palate, flavors of citrus custard and lemon skin plus a delicate minerality, come together for a refreshing and balanced finish.

Dwyane Wade, former NBA legend, produced his first wine in 2012, and now offers Cabernet and Pinot Noir along with this Chenin Blanc. A vibrant pale-yellow hue and aromas of jasmine and fresh lemon lead to flavors of ripe pear and a clean bright finish. It displays vibrant citrus and tropical fruit notes along with zesty acidity. This wine pairs well with seafood, spicy dishes, or Asian cuisine.
Bougrier V Vouvray Brut Sparkling
Loire Valley, France $22
In 1885, the winery was founded and now the 6th generation is thriving with three vineyards and their goal to produce the best wines of the Loire Valley. This Brut, or dry, sparkling Chenin Blanc, offers a bouquet of lemon and honey with mineral and dry fruit flavors in the mouth plus a spritzy finish. Medium- bodied and ready to enjoy with salty, spicy, or fried foods. This wine earned a 90-point rating from James Suckling.
Saldo Chenin Blanc 2021
St. Helena, California $20
Saldo comes from the Italian word for “I join or I weld” and the winemaker’s approach is to ‘weld together’ the best grapes from the best vineyards around the world. Chenin Blanc and two lesser grapes combine for aromas of pineapple, white peach, and a bit of brown spice. A savory mouthfeel of pineapple and honey crisp apple ends with a balanced finish. Pair with goat cheese crostini, lemon risotto or shrimp scampi and linguini.
