Get ready, set and go to the Myrtle Beach Marathon

The Myrtle Beach Marathon is back for its 26th year!

With options to participate in either a full or half marathon, a 5K or the Family Fun Run, runners of all experience levels will have something to compete in, followed by a post-race party featuring live music, pizza, beer, sponsor activations and more. All participants receive official race shirts, finisher medals, finisher tank tops, free food and post-race beer.

Friday, March 3, will be packet pickup and an evening Family Fun Run at The Hangout! Then, on Saturday, March 4, check out the marathon, half marathon, and 5K plus a post-race party in the park!

The marathon course features only 25 feet of elevation gain and provides the opportunity for runners to tour some of the hottest locations in Myrtle Beach, including Broadway at the Beach, Ocean Boulevard and Pelicans Ballpark.

The event annually attracts thousands of people from all over the country. The course is described as fast, flat and beautiful and many runners use it as their qualifying race for the Boston Marathon. It's a great race for beginner and experienced runners alike, you’ll have to be sure to save some energy for the post-race fun!

Don’t want to travel or get up early? Then be sure to check out information online about the 10K virtual race.
