Z’s Amazing Kitchen gets an A in fast-casual

A  new dining trend is hitting North Myrtle Beach faster than you can order a plateful of ale-laced cheese sauce-laden Z’s Loaded Chips.

The fast-casual concept at the new Z’s Amazing Kitchen will have you fed and feeling guilt-free in minutes with its menu of gourmet specialties and fresh, non-processed ingredients.
Owner Paul Zito, the Z in Z’s, and Joey Mead joined forces after more than a decade together in the food industry to put their idea on plates, fast. All creations are “prepped fresh and made to order,” says Mead, not dropped in a deep fryer from the freezer to wax paper-lined baskets. Instead, there are fresh soups like Hungarian mushroom, smoked tuna chili and baked potato. Try one or two Bada Bing Shrimp Tacos, lightly breaded shrimp in a zesty cream sauce with slaw and roasted corn pico de gallo. The Seared Tuna Salad delights with Yellowfin tuna, kale, cabbage, carrots and cucumber.

For more Asian cuisine, a must is the vegetable fried rice with grilled chicken. Another notable is the Shrimp Alla Zito, with breaded shrimp kissed with garlic butter sauce and Romano cheese then laid to rest over Orzo pasta.

A second Z’s Amazing Kitchen will open soon at Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach. Sit down and be well taken care of Southern hospitality-style or order lunch or dinner for takeout. Either way, it’s amazing.
