Little Brown Bats are tiny, but mighty! 

- The typical lifespan is approximately 6-7 years old

- During flight, their heart can beat over 1,000 times per minute

- During hibernation, they can withstand a temperature change of nearly 120∞ F without suffering any damager 

- One of the oldest little brown bats was discovered in Ontario, at 31 years of age

- Female little brown bats are usually larger than males 

- Each little brown bat mother has one pup per year, and can identify her child based on scent and calls
