Designer’s Showcase: Dressed for the Season! transforms the Kaminski House Museum in the spirit of the holidays
Head to Georgetown for this holiday treat. The rooms of the Kaminski House Museum, with the help of talented designers and home decor specialists throughout the Waccamaw Neck, have been transformed for the season. Designer’s Showcase: Dressed for the Season! is filled with glitz, glamour and the spirit of Christmas.
Aside from enjoying a tour of the museum in its finery, there will also be several special events throughout the run of Designer’s Showcase. On Thursday, December 13, a Candlelight Tour will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The price for this event is just $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
Also part of the fun will be Family Night, taking place on Saturday, December 22. From 4 to 6 p.m., there will be lots of exciting fun to enjoy for kids and adults alike, including the Candy Cane Express (a decorated tour tram), hot cocoa and cookies and a holiday scavenger hunt. Families can also view the rooms of the museum in their trimmings. The price for Family Night is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Adults with children can pay just $5 and kids under 12 are admitted free of charge.
