Brookgreen Gardens reprises, for the third year, its popular Summer Light: Art by Night exhibit this season beginning in June and running through the end of August., according to Lauren Joseph, vice president of marketing.

“It’s not a re-creation of Nights of a Thousand Candles, it’s a completely different experience. Instead of decorating every possible space, as we do with NOTC, these installations are stand-alone art pieces. For example, the display in Live Oak Allee is called “Symphony of Light” – lights paint the live oaks in moving color synchronized to classical music,” she explains.

Ten lighting installations throughout the sculpture garden featuring a variety of lighting techniques will light up the Gardens. Walking through the heart of the sculpture garden, visitors will be immersed and mesmerized by the magic of Brookgreen Gardens after dark. Experience Oak Allee and Beyond the Garden Wall like never before, immersing yourself with sounds and lights, the exquisite Conway Glass display, the “blooming flora” in the Children’s Garden, and more, Joseph notes.

The Summer Light show will also feature live music from local bands, with food and drink available from food trucks and the Gardens’ own Old Kitchen.
