Jewel Buckman
Entrepreneur Jewel Buckman is the proprietor/operator of online businesses Jewelz Yoga llc, Jewelz Mermaid Kisses Swimwear llc, and Jewelz Luxe Life llc.
Jewelz Yoga, established 2019, is “my meditation, yoga, personal training, aquatic fitness, kettlebell training, and group fitness business that helps my clients reach their personal fitness goals,” she says, noting she trains in person in Myrtle Beach and can be contacted at jewelzyoga@gmail.com to book a training session.
Jewelz Mermaid Kisses Swimwear, established in 2023, “celebrates my meditative soul as I walk the beaches daily and feel called to create handmade, gorgeous sea shells and coconut bikini tops that celebrate the magic and wonder of the sea and my mermaid soul,” Buckman continues. She followed that up a year later with Jewelz Luxe Life magazine, “an exclusive magazine that celebrates my passion of yoga, fashion and wellness that’s distributed at top fashion weeks, Amazon, and digitally reaching readers worldwide.”
Jewelz Mermaid Kisses Swimwear is celebrating their first year, and Buckman is proudly the lead designer in the official NYFW and Miami Swim Week global tour of RX Runway. She is also presenting her colletction in the House of Paradise Fashion Week. All are on the official NYFW and Miami Swim Week calendar.
“I celebrate my unique passion and love of yoga, fashion and fitness,” she explains. “As I work towards my doctorate in psychology, I celebrate being a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, earning a 4.0 in my studies. As I unite my passions, I hope to empower others to have a growth mindset and to take the steps to self motivate and achieve their goals!”
Buckman is also Ms. Bikini Chesapeake Fitness 2022, Ms. South Carolina US Nation 2020, and Ms. US Nation 1st runner up 2020.
Buckman, proudly supports the empowerment of women, and donates a portion of all sales from her businesses to support and encourage the education of women and help for those who have suffered from abuse.
“There is no greater accomplishment than to reach down and support and encourage one another!” she notes. As for advising other entrepreneurs, Buckman says: “Believe in yourself. Surround yourself with others that believe in you. Tune out and detach from negative energy…it has no place in your future. Educate yourself on your passions and keep a growth mindset. Success is not given…it is earned and each person’s success is determined by their own measurement thereof. Find joy in the simple things in life, like the magic of a sea shell and always stay humble and kind.”
She says she is most inspired by her children. “They inspire me everyday to be a better person and to God willing, leave a legacy for future generations. As I was a stay-at-home mom for over 20 years, I’m loving every minute of it, and as my kids are now grown, it is time for me to give back to our beautiful world!”
