At the heart of Bo Flavor Bojangles are two remarkable women whose leadership and dedication shine brightly in the local community. Jennifer Kiskunas, the owner, and Diane Tracy, the Director of Operations, own and operate 12 Bojangles locations across Horry and Georgetown counties. Their story is one of passion, purpose, and commitment to their team and community.

Jennifer and Diane believe that their role goes far beyond serving food; it’s about building connections and bringing joy to others.

“We’re in the people business, not just the food business,” says Jennifer. “The connections we create with our guests and our Bo-Family team members bring us immense happiness and purpose.”

The inspiration for Bojangles in their community is personal and heartfelt. Jennifer recalls a time when there was only one Bojangles in the area, which became a special place where she and her grandparents connected. “Food has a unique way of bringing people together,” she reflects. “At Bojangles, we aim to be a highlight in people’s lives.”

Bo Flavor Bojangles offers a variety of services to cater to different needs and occasions. Their quick-service dining model provides the signature, flavorful food for which Bojangles is renowned. In addition to this, their Bo Beautiful Catering department offers comprehensive catering services for events ranging from corporate gatherings and family celebrations to weddings.

“We take pride in making each event special with our high-quality food and exceptional service,” Diane explains.

Their wedding catering service is a standout, providing customizable menu options to fit the theme and style of each couple’s special day. “Our goal is to make every wedding memorable,” Diane adds.

What sets Bojangles apart is the unique culture Jennifer and Diane have cultivated.

“I personally have learned that a firm foundation is not built upon directing others, but instead by demonstrating hard work yourself, paying close attention to never asking another to complete a task you yourself are not willing to accomplish,” Jennifer says. “This has been our leading objective, which is to treat others the way we want to be treated. This requires team members to lead with kindness, humility, and empathy.”

The company’s culture emphasizes working hard and playing hard. They celebrate daily milestones, recognize achievements with awards, and even take family vacations together.

“The term ‘Bo-Family’ is more than just a phrase; it’s the core of our culture,” Diane notes. “We support each other through both successes and challenges, creating a genuine family atmosphere.”

At Bo Flavor Bojangles, the team is committed to staying ahead of trends to enhance their offerings. They’re also excited to introduce new items on their QSR menu, including refreshing Iced Coffee and delightful Cobblers. These additions reflect their dedication to evolving with consumer preferences and making every Bojangles experience special.

Community involvement is a cornerstone of Bojangles’ philosophy. From supporting local schools and fire departments to participating in seasonal coat and toy drives, their commitment to giving back is evident. The Bo Berry Biscuits program, benefiting the American Heart Association, is particularly meaningful. “It’s a way for us to make a positive impact and support important causes,” Jennifer explains.

Their support extends to various organizations like Folds of Honor and local booster clubs, with revenue from football games often donated back to support community activities. “We believe in creating a ripple effect of kindness and generosity,” Diane says. “Our goal is to lift up those around us in every way we can.”

Jennifer offers heartfelt advice to women starting out on their own: “People should always begin with the why, by answering the why, they will discover their hearts passion and purpose. Simply stated my why is people.”

She believes that women have a unique set of skills that enable them to be exceptional leaders. “Many of us juggle multiple roles, and this ability helps us connect with others in a more meaningful way,” she adds. “Surround yourself with a supportive tribe and remember that success is achieved with the help of a dedicated team.”

Bo Flavor Bojangles, led by Jennifer Kiskunas and Diane Tracy, is more than just a quick-service restaurant. It’s a vibrant community, a place of joy, and a beacon of leadership and support in the local area.
