Casey Mungavin is director of sales and marketing for 21 Main Events at North Beach an›d 21 Main Prime Steakhouse in North Myrtle Beach.
The company originated in Long Island, New York, and has been flourishing along the Grand Strand for more than 12 years.
“We wanted to showcase our many years of full-service catering that’s truly “New York Style, with Southern Charm,” she says.
Mungavin is proud of the fine dining restaurant and full-service catering-planning business and accolades from customers and clients alike.
“No one else can produce an event like 21 Main Events can,” she notes. “This holds true of our restaurant as well; we are constantly re-inventing our menu and ambience, so you have an amazing dining experience every visit. For example, our dry age cases are on display as you walk into the restaurant. Not only do we dry age our steaks in-house, we can showcase the process.”
21 Main also gives back to the Grand Strand community, from hosting fundraisers to donating funds.
“We help every chance we can,” Mungavin says. “One of our biggest events each year is the Toys for Tots Happy Hour. We end up with over 300 toys a year to donate, thanks to this event.”
She is inspired by the people she works with and 21 Main’s clients.
“I love that I work at a place that can create unforgettable moments, and I get the opportunity to execute that for thousands of people every year! Positive feedback, smiles, and hugs from clients are the best.”
Her advice for women who are planning a career in business, she says: “Educate yourself! Knowledge is power, and confidence will get you anywhere you need to go. First impressions are key, so always dress your best!”
