Arbor Landing at Pawleys is an Assisted Living and Memory Care facility that aims to pair exceptional senior care with the best in southern hospitality to create a world class senior living experience in the heart of Pawleys Island.
Arbor Landing’s community opened in 2018. In that short time, Arbor Landing has made strong connections in the community. Their efforts have paid off, with Arbor Landing at Pawleys being awarded the Best Assisted Living Community for two years running, along with having the best Shrimp and Grits in Pawleys Island!
“What sets Arbor Landing apart from other communities is we are always aspiring to learn and grow for our residents and future residents. They are always our top priority,” says Maureen Coombs, Horizons Wellness Director. Coombs has been with the company since July 2018, and credits Arbor Landing’s values with what drives and inspires her to be the nurse she is today.
“Our company’s first core value is: It’s all about the resident. But we also take care of our employees, too.” Josée Dubé, Dining Service Director, says. Dubé has been in the food industry for over 25 years, and was looking for a way to make a difference and positive impact on the senior community. Her passion is providing delicious food and giving residents a great experience at every meal.
“The smaller company setting tends to provide more flexibility in being able to orient care and policies to what is needed for our residents, and not just on a corporate level,” Sandy Ahearn, Assisted Living Wellness Director, adds. Ahearn is a volunteer member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs since 2000. In 2018, she joined the North Myrtle Beach Women’s Club shortly after moving to South Carolina, and has been serving on the National OFWC board from 2016 to today.
Arbor Landing’s goals are to continue providing the best care in assisted living and specialized memory care to their residents.
