Madison and Colt met at Coastal Carolina University, where they were both pursuing their bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration. They had been dating for three years when Colt proposed by reenacting one of their first dates. They took their dogs to the beach (their love of dogs was one of the things that brought them together), where Colt had hired photographers to disguise themselves as random beachgoers to capture the whole thing. The wedding was held at Litchfield Plantation in Pawleys Island and was an outdoor ceremony under the historic oak trees. The day’s theme was classic and elegant. The all-white flowers featured lilies, hydrangeas, roses and peonies and the reception decor was white and gold. Many different tablecloths were used throughout, giving a unique look to the tent. One of Madison’s favorite design elements was the floral arch they were married under, made the morning of the wedding with fresh flowers. The couple lives in Charlotte.
