Lindsey Warner & James Williams

Lindsey and James may never have met, had it not been for Lindsey’s hound, Leo. On that fortuitous day, Lindsey was outside her Little River, S.C., home with Leo when James spotted her as he was nearby unpacking his car for a beach day. James began persistently asking Lindsey questions about her dog. This led to hours of easy conversation on Lindsey’s front porch steps and four years later they were wed!

After nearly two years of traveling back and forth between James’ home in Asheboro, N.C., and Little River, the couple decided to permanently live in Asheboro, with Lindsey keeping her home on the Grand Strand. While vacationing in Florida, James got down on one knee and proposed in their hotel room. This was after extravagantly planned “ask” events went awry because of weather and air traffic cancellations!

The fall wedding was at Atalaya Castle in Murrells Inlet, S.C., and attended by family and friends from near and far. Wedding planner Kristy Klethe and florist Chrisie from Lazelle’s Flower Shop helped ensure all went well, while The Dressing Room and Beautifully Wed, both of Pawleys Island, dressed and coiffed the bride. The reception was on one side of the castle; the ceremony on the other. The floral theme consisted of red, white and bright pink arrangements. Gold tones set the mood with lighting from MC Lighting. Music was provided by Joyful Entertainment and harpist Rebecca Nissen, with catering by Inlet Affairs.

Lindsey is a dental hygienist and James owns and operates Springwood Barber Shop.
