Leslie Beck and Jonathan Tardugno both worked at Cintas in North Charlotte when they met. Jonathan caught Leslie’s eye, so she, with the help of several coworkers, arranged a number of group dates for them to go on. Despite Jonathan’s initial shyness, the couple talked and discovered they had many mutual interests, including music, the mountains, and the television show “Friends.” The proposal took place at the beautiful Margaritaville Island Hotel in Pigeon Forge. They were by the fountain when, as the fountain lights came on, Jon got down on one knee to propose. The reception was a smaller-than-planned event at Inlet Affairs. With an original guest list of 142, the list had to be cut down to family only due to COVID-19 restrictions. Despite this drastic change, the day turned out to be absolutely perfect, with DJ Wally B keeping them on the dance floor all night. The couple now resides in Cramerton, N.C., where Leslie is a New Account Coordinator and Jon is a Production Supervisor for Cintas.
