Kenny and Kimberly grew up knowing of each other, but their paths never crossed since they’re eight years apart. They met up on New Year’s Day to watch football, and the rest is history. After about a year together, they had a nice dinner at Joe’s Bar and Grill. Once they got home, Kenny told her how she was his best friend and how much he loved her, and the next thing she knew he pulled out a ring. Their plan was to head to the Dominican Republic and tie the knot, but Hurricane Florence decided that wouldn’t be the case. They spontaneously planned a wedding for the following weekend, where they invited 60 of their closest friends and family and got married on the beach. Friends sang and played guitar before the ceremony. After the 10 a.m. wedding, guests headed to Snooky’s for brunch. The bloody Mary and mimosa bars were huge hits. The day was relaxed, and a guitarist played on the front deck for everyone to dance to and enjoy. The pair lives in Little River.
