Kimberly Kirby and Mark Stoffel

Kimberly and Mark met through mutual friends at a concert at The Boathouse. After four years of dating, she really wanted to get a dog. When they arrived in Charleston to visit family for Thanksgiving, Mark asked her to head up to the rooftop terrace while he called to confirm the evening plans. He came up to enjoy the view when Kimberly heard a noise. She was shocked to see a yellow lab puppy. Mark proceeded to get down on one knee and ask if she would be his wife and Dabo’s (their new pup’s) mommy. The wedding was held at St. Michael Catholic Church, followed by a reception at Litchfield Plantation. The theme of the day was a little bohemian with lots of neutral colors, earthy tones and chic greenery and white. It was just starting to get dark at the ceremony, so the lights in the church were dimmed with lanterns wrapped in greenery, white roses and baby’s breath leading down the aisle. The reception featured mini white pumpkins in the decor, including as holders for the table numbers. They were also given to guests as favors and were a big hit. The couple lives in Myrtle Beach.
