After their initial meeting at Lowes Foods, Kerri and Jeffery were together for 10 years before he finally proposed. When he did, however, he made it count. On Easter after church, Kerri and Jeffery headed over to a family cookout. Kerri was asked to say the blessing and when she said “Amen” and opened her eyes, Jeffery was down on one knee with a ring and the rest of the family was holding up signs that said “Kerri, Will You Marry Me?” The couple picked the Island Vista Resort for their ceremony and reception. Kerri arrived at the ceremony by horse and carriage and rose petals lined her walk down to Jeffery. The ballroom for the reception was completely transformed with turquoise up lighting and white curtains with icicle lights. Kerri had her true Cinderella wedding complete with glass slippers to marry her real-life prince. The couple lives in Sanford, North Carolina.
