Kelly had just moved to Charlotte, and she attended to a Fourth of July party with her new co-workers. Ryan was also at the party, as he was one of her co-worker’s roommates. The pair hung out as friends for the next few months before they took the next step and started dating. After two years together, Ryan proposed close to Christmas. He asked Kelly if she wanted to open one present early. When she opened an empty ring box, she turned around to see him down on one knee with the ring. The ceremony was held at Litchfield Plantation, where the bride wore a traditional strapless dress with lace and buttons down the back and the groom wore a gray suit. The wedding party donned sage green dresses and gray suits. The big day was a destination wedding, and family traveled from Florida, New York, Pennsylvania and all over the United States to be there to celebrate. Kelly and Ryan live in Richmond, Virginia.
