The pair met when Douglas moved in next door 12 years ago. They became best friends until one day Josie realized “her person” was right next door. After dating for eight months, the groom proposed on the back porch of his family’s condo in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, with the ocean in the background. The ceremony took place at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island and was an intimate vintage-themed Southern wedding. Thanks to Tropical Storm Bonnie, the outdoor event was held under a large white tent due to weather, but at the end of the day the pair were married and that was all they cared about. They make their home in New Jersey.
