The couple met in youth group at First Baptist Georgetown, where they both attended from middle school until college. Jordan and Nick dated for two years before he proposed to her the night of her college graduation party. Family and friends were gathered to celebrate at a rooftop restaurant in downtown Charleston when someone suggested taking a picture of the couple in front of the Ravenel Bridge. As the family was ready with cameras, Nick got down on one knee and proposed, turning the graduation party into an engagement party. The ceremony took place at Brookgreen Gardens and was sweetly Southern. Both the reception and ceremony were held outdoors to embrace nature and the beauty of the Lowcountry. Personal touches included the couple’s monogram and signature color palette of purples and pinks, including the bridesmaids’ dresses in varying shades. Yard games were ready for guests and the cake had minimal frosting and was decorated with flowers to carry the natural outdoor feel. After the wedding, the couple moved to Arkansas, where they built a house.
