The pair met through work some years ago and were married in an intimate beach ceremony in Surfside Beach by Reverend Dr. Mike Alexander, senior pastor of Belin Church. The groom’s father was best man and the bride’s brother was her “man of honor,” with the couple’s son, William, serving as ring bearer. The pair chose to get married in Myrtle Beach since it has been a second home to the bride since she was young. Crystal wore diamond earrings that belonged to her late mother-in-law and an antique ring that was her late maternal grandmother’s. Everyone in attendance wrote a special message on a seashell, as well as writing a wish for the couple on paper that will be read on their one-year anniversary. A dinner at Sea Captain’s House followed the ceremony.
