Casey and John met while working at Eastwind Long Island, a catering facility and spa in Eastern Long Island. They had their first date 15 years ago at the Brickhouse Breweries in Patchogue, N.Y., and have been together almost every day since. John proposed at the gardens at the Hershey Hotel in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Casey’s favorite spot in the hotel, where the couple vacationed each August. The pair tied the knot on a rooftop at the Restoration Hotel in Charleston. Family from New York and a few of their closest South Carolina friends attended their small celebration. The couple’s first friend in South Carolina just happened to be Gene Ho, and they were lucky enough to be his very first ceremony officiated. A flower cannon was blasted to seal the special moment, with petals flying all over downtown Charleston. The dinner reception was held in the Exchange Suite, with the evening kicking off with a cocktail hour on a private rooftop. There were lots of fresh greenery and beautiful white orchids everywhere. Casey’s pink Carol Hannah two-piece gown stood out among the white flowers. The Watch catered an amazing Southern meal served family-style, with drinks flowing and lots of dancing. The pair enjoyed spending a couple of days in Charleston with family and friends. Casey and John both work for 21 Main (he is the general manager and she is director of sales) and live in Myrtle Beach.
