Alli and Brett met during their freshman year at the University of South Carolina in a most romantic way … at a frat party. They had their first date later that week, which was the beginning of their eight-year courtship. The pair became avid hikers after relocating to the upstate, with one of their favorite trails at the DuPont State Forest. This is where Brett proposed on a waterfall hike. The Grand Strand is the pair’s favorite place to get away and relax with friends and family, so it was the perfect place to tie the knot. The ceremony was held on the lawn at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club, where Alli fell in love with the ocean views and salty air. The day was elegant, yet fun and relaxed. The ballroom was decorated in sage green, ivory and gold. The flower arrangements were a mix of ivory and greenery and the room was filled with candles. They incorporated their Cinco de Mayo date by entering to festive music and distributing maracas to guests. Chick-fil-A nugget boxes were waiting for everyone as they left the dance floor at the end of the evening. Alli and Brett live in Greenville.
