The meeting was easy with Alexandra and Joel. They met through mutual friends and have spent most every day together since. Joel’s family takes a trip every year to Key West for lobster season so when they went one year, Joel took Alexandra on a ferry boat over to Sunset Key to have dinner at Latitudes Restaurant. After dinner, they took a walk on the beach and this is when Joel sweetly asked Alexandra to be his wife. The ceremony took place at Pawleys Island Community Church exactly three years from when they first met. The couple used fresh white and green florals with touches of turquoise, which is the bride’s favorite color. The Shimmer Band had everyone dancing the night away. Alexandra and Joel had such a nice time and haven’t stopped smiling since. After their honeymoon to St. Lucia, the newlyweds live in the historic district of Georgetown in the same home Joel’s mother grew up in.
