Abigail Perry & Brian Pugliese

It all started with a swipe.

Abigail and Brian met on Bumble, where their shared sense of humor and connection was immediately apparent.

Abigail is a dance teacher at Gracefully Fierce Dance Company, choreographer for the award-winning Socastee Singers, and choreographer for Theatre of the Republic. She also serves as the resident choreographer for High Steppin’ Country at Lakewood Camping Resort. She’s also a hairstylist at Nikki Cole’s Hair Design and Spa. Brian is a construction manager for Pulte Group.
After talking online for two months, they met in person, and it was as if they had known each other forever!

Over the next five and a half years, their bond grew stronger. Together, they navigated life’s ups and downs, and proved that their love could withstand anything.

Brian’s proposal was made even more special by the setting: Abigail’s “Nana and Papa’s garden” at Brookgreen Gardens. He enlisted Abigail’s entire family to help, choosing Mother’s Day as the perfect opportunity.

The plan was simple but convincing—a family photoshoot at Brookgreen. Abigail was posing with her brothers when she turned around to see Brian standing there in the garden that holds so much meaning for her family.
Brian got down on one knee in the very spot that celebrates her family’s legacy, asking Abigail to start a new chapter together. Surrounded by love and memories, she said “yes.”

Their wedding took place at Oak Allee at Brookgreen Gardens, surrounded by the natural beauty of the gardens and the enchanting glow of twinkling lights.

They envisioned a whimsical, ethereal atmosphere with a cozy, warm vibe, perfectly complementing the stunning outdoor setting.

The weather was perfect, and the celebration was everything they had dreamed of—a heartfelt ceremony followed by the best party ever, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Abigail and Brian’s reception was held at Brookgreen Gardens’ Leonard Pavilion. The space was transformed with flowing drapery, soft candlelight, and a stunning palette of burgundy and warm whites, striking the perfect balance between upscale sophistication and cozy charm.

Each table was adorned with candles and thoughtful details that invited guests to relax and enjoy the evening. From heartfelt toasts to lively dancing, the night was filled with love, laughter, and the perfect touches that made it uniquely Abigail and Brian.

The couple lives in Myrtle Beach.
