Men, women and children will be walking in women’s shoes to show solidarity against domestic violence and raise money for Horry County Emergency Safe House, which helps women and children who are survivors of domestic violence. After the walk, the “Let’s Stop the Violence” event will begin and will include speakers, DJs and mascots, performances, food and more. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
