October 15The American Heart Association’s signature fundraising event, the 2016 Waccamaw Heart Walk sponsored by Beach Ford, features a three-mile walk route and a shorter one-mile route. This dog-friendly event is wheelchair and stroller accessible and includes entertainment, cardiovascular advice from experts, giveaways, CPR demos, a kids’ zone and heart-healthy snacks. Plyler Park, North Ocean Boulevard at the end of Mr. Joe White Avenue.
