Featuring Coastal Carolina University professors Jeffrey Jones and Philip Powell, The Lovely Milleress, better known as Die schone Millerin, is sure to delight. The Franz Shubert song cycle, based on the poems of Wilhelm Muller, tells the tale of a journeyman miller traveling the countryside in search of work. After falling in love, tragedy ensues in this moving piece.
