The art of Loring Taoka is an extension on the act of perception and the way we perceive visual elements, shapes, patterns and important characteristics. Taoka uses basic geometry as his point of departure, creating overlapping, incomplete and illusory shapes in various stages of flux. There will be a special lecture and reception on October 10 at 2 p.m.
