Tara Hall Home for Boys held its first Myrtle Beach fundraising event at the home of Tami Brooks on Thursday, May 7, 2015. Tara Hall, located in Georgetown County, provides a home and school for neglected, troubled or abused boys – ages 6 years and up – growing up in the state of South Carolina without a supportive or safe home environment. Nearly 60% of the boys and only 7% of Tara Hall's funding come from Horry County, which led to the decision to reach out to the area with this latest event.
