The daily sacrifices that are made by military spouses and children make on the homefront are often overlooked. 

Support Military Spouses is making every effort to rectify that oversight. On Saturday, September 10th at 8:00am The Grand Strand Running Club is partnering with the City of North Myrtle Beach to produces the inaugural “Support Military Spouses’ Run for the Heroes on the Homefront 5k.” 

This is a great opportunity to honor those in the hearts and homes of our soldiers, and give back to the families that have given so much to our country. 

The early registration fee is $25 for adults and $15 for children, with a race day registration fee of $30. 

Proceeds raised go back into the Appreciation Care Packages program organized by Support Military Spouses as well as Money Management Workshops and Job Skills Training, allowing military spouses to receive these meaningful services at no personal cost.
