NS Promos announces another fantastic race –  the Awesome 80s Summer Solstice Beach Run, presented by Moe Moon’s. This unique race features the beauty of Myrtle Beach and takes advantage of the beginning of summer and the longest day of sunlight! Participants start on the sand at Plyler Park and head north for 1 mile and then return for a total of 2 miles. Afterwards, stay at Plyler Park for live music, food, and fun! Race participants will receive a hotdog, chips, and soda/water compliments of Moe Moon’s. Bring your beach towel, dress up in your favorite 80s costume, and let’s have a big picnic together! This is an un-timed event and no overall or age group awards will be given. A timing clock will be posted at the finish. All participants dressed in ‘80s attire will be entered into a costume raffle prize drawing. The nonprofit partner for the race this year is Help 4 Kids/Backpack Buddies.
