A Grammy winning artist, Vai first became famous in 1980 as the lead guitarist in Frank Zappa’s band, but his career took off when he released his first solo album, Flex-Able, in 1984.  Known for his unique musical vision, Vai’s newest album, The Story of Light, is set to release on August 14.
