A Myrtle Beach native now living and working in the Raleigh area, Sara Farrington’s series, Model Home, is a site-specific responsive sculptural installation of staged domestic spaces. The to-scale components include furniture, rugs, light switches, picture frames and more, all created using heavyweight drawing paper. Farrington received her MFA in Studio Art from the University of North Carolina and her MAT in Art Education from Coastal Carolina University. Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B.
