The Russian National Ballet Theatre was founded in Moscow in the late 1980s, a time when many of the Soviet Union’s ballet institutions were enjoying their new-found creative freedom. Today the group is its own institution with over 50 dancers. The company began touring in the United States in 2017. Catch their incredible performance of Swan Lake at the Carolina Opry.
