Ripley’s Aquarium Festival of Trees

Outdoors

This year’s annual festival, which made its debut in 2001 with 10 trees, boasts more than 50 trees. Representing the diversity of the United States, some of the most unique trees include the Mardi Gras tree adorned with beads for Louisiana and the red roses tree inspired by the Kentucky Derby. The tree that represents South Carolina is 18 feet tall and covered in shells, golf balls, magnolias and Gamecock and Tiger trimmings.
