The Pier at Garden City includes live music, an arcade, a café and big crowds through Labor Day. The pier stays open through the end of the year, and closes for the winter.

Sunrises at the Springmaid Beach Pier, or at any of the area piers, find few visitors and opportunities to refresh the soul.
The Apache Pier and Campground is a big draw the area between Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach.

Storms are the primary enemy of piers in this region, and many in our area have been rebuilt, sometimes more than once. The Pier at Myrtle Beach State Park affords day-trippers, staycationers and fisherman less-crowded access.
An early morning fisherman throws a cast net with practiced efficiency. Small bait fish often congregate near the pier’s pilings, and fisherman up top often stay sunrise to sunset.
After major renovations, the Pier House Restaurant at the 2nd Avenue Pier offers drinks and dining inside and out.
