Envision what Hobcaw Barony was like before European colonization, through a walk in the salt marsh. In the Discovery Center, participants will learn about the relationship Native Americans had with the land. Afterwards, a bus ride and a short trek in the pluff mud will lead to a shell midden – the remnants of a Native American eating spot.
