The Wild Ponies performed at the South by Southeast Music Feast on January 25, 2014. The trio is fronted by the Virginia-born brother-sister duo of Doug and Telisha Williams with Jake Winebrenner on drums. The Historic Myrtle Beach Train Depot is transformed as a music venue for the shows.

SXSE swag for sale during the Randall Bramblett show. Pictured is a poster of the late Jeff Roberts, nicknamed “The Minister of Music” by his close friends. Roberts was one of the founders of the series and his memory is honored with a toast before each show.
Webb Wilder performed at SXSE on March 12, 2016, to a packed crowd. It was his second appearance at the music series. Wilder describes his music this way: “Rock ’n’ roll, from Nashville. Formed from Mississippi mud, tinged with British mod. Bruised by the blues. Baptized by Buck and Chuck. Psychiatric psycho-rootsy. Sizzling, glistening, uneasy listening.”
Davin McCoy and The Attractions of Atlanta performed at SXSE on October 13, 2012. McCoy performed many of the songs from his debut album Whiskey Sexy and closed his show with an emotional cover of Prince’s “Purple Rain.”
Kenny George performed with his band on March 28, 2015. The band, from Aiken, S.C., performed two sets of original songs in their self-described alt-country/Southern rock style.
Lousiana songwriter Kevin Gordon performs with the “SXSE Guitar” on August 14, 2010. The guitar has been signed by many of the musicians that have performed at the series.
