Domaine de Begrolles Muscadet Sevre et Maine 2014

Loire Valley, France, $12

The best are bottled sur lie, or on the lees (sediment) for a richer flavors. Light and dry, with alcohol low at 11.5 percent. Drink within three years.

Sauvion Sancerre 2014

Loire Valley, France, $18

For many wine drinkers, Sancerre is the epitome of the Sauvignon Blanc grape. Like the Muscadet, it comes from the Loire Valley. This example comes from 30-year-old vines, which helps develop the subtle acidity for a perfect match for seafood, grilled light fish and goat cheese. Rich and well balanced on the palate, with floral and quince flavors.

Bramito Chardonnay 2014

Umbria, Italy, $12

Fermented in oak and then stainless steel so it develops aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple, hazelnut and vanilla. Elegant with a good structure, it offers vibrant acidity and, like a young Chablis, it can be enjoyed over the next couple of years. Pair with fish dishes, shrimp and lobster in buttery sauces. A super food wine with a low price.
