William Jameson: Woodland Texture

Museums/Exhibits

Born in Honea Path, South Carolina, William Jameson’s strong native ties led him and his wife, also a painter, to a cabin home in Saluda, North Carolina. Jameson finds that growing up in South Carolina greatly influenced his artistic ambitions. His nature landscapes, with full ranges of color and contrast, capture seasons as they come and go in the mountains near his home.
