Celebrating Gullah Culture

This day will give families a joyful opportunity to experience the Gullah culture. Museum visitors will enjoy sweet grass basket demonstrations, hammock making, an African market, and Gullah food vendors. There will be face painting, workshops to create Gullah-inspired arts and crafts, storytelling, Gullah language lessons, African drumming, gospel and spiritual performances, and dance lessons. Don’t miss this day of fun and education for all ages.
