
The folks at 10/Fold Biscuits have recently reinvented themselves, mostly, as Seasons By 10/Fold, revealing an interior design makeover and expanded menu that now offers much more than just biscuits.
Seasons, a two-story restaurant/café in Myrtle Beach’s Magnolia Row, features a modern, beach-boho vibe, with basket lighting, textured wall art, and a light, natural ambiance embracing the intimate dining room.
Take a seat at any of the tables indoors or out on the cute front patio and start by ordering any of their hot brews, from crafted espressos to hot or iced coffee, latte, Americano, or cappuccino, as well as fresh-squeezed orange juice. Our server said to stay tuned for stronger drinks on the menu, like mimosas.
The hefty menu lists a plethora of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. Choose any of the Belgian waffle creations, such as the Candy Shop Waffle topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, a sweep of peanut butter, M&Ms, and whipped cream. There are also a variety of pancakes served hot off the griddle, brioche and challah toast combinations, Southern classics, like Biscuit Bread Pudding and Carolina Shrimp & Grits, an assortment of omelets served with your choice of twice-baked potatoes, stone-ground grits, or a bowl of fresh fruit, cast iron skillets, the house specialty biscuits, and a bunch of Benedicts. I highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Benedict layered with cold smoked salmon, a smear of whipped cream cheese, pickled red onion, capers, a slice of tomato, a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce over a homemade biscuit.
Menu offerings that sway more toward the lunch side are lighter fare ... power bowls, fresh salads, tacos, smash burgers, pressed artisan sandwiches, like the chicken and pesto panini, and creative communal plates designed for sharing at your table, such as the Pimento Fried Green Tomato Stack or the grilled Prosciutto Ricotta Flatbread topped with whipped ricotta, fire-grilled peach slices, prosciutto, arugula, a drizzle of chili-infused honey, pistachio dust, and balsamic glaze. And bring the kiddos, because they offer a section of items for younger guests, such as the PB&J Biscuit dusted with powdered sugar.
Seasons By 10/Fold is a wakeup call to the landscape of breakfast and brunch restaurants here at the beach that sometimes fall flat.
