Conway Downtown Alive is presenting a family-friendly New Year’s Eve fireworks show that’s certain to rival all others in the region.

The setting for this event is Downtown Conway’s Riverfront District at 7 Elm Street, the festival lawn, so everyone is encouraged to grab a spot on the grass or set up a tailgate in an adjacent parking area, says Hillary Howard, executive director of CDA.

Zambelli Fireworks will light up the Conway night sky at midnight to ring in 2026! The lawn will open at 10:30 p.m. Fireworks will deploy at midnight, she notes. Conway Alive has worked with Zambelli to plan a “quick rapid-fire display that will be short but full of finale feels.”

This is the second year for the downtown fireworks, and some 3,000 people came out last year to ring in the New Year.

“At the inaugural NYE Fireworks event in 2024 we didn’t know what to expect as far as attendance and atmosphere—we were happily surprised! Folks arrived early and ready to celebrate. Families set up tailgates to rival the best college football weekends, and everyone was decked out in their “2025” attire,” she adds. “Teens rolled in with their friends and perched on trucks and jeeps to watch while the little ones danced and waved neon glow sticks.” 

Zambelli Fireworks works with Conway Alive to create an experience that’s enjoyable at a close but safe distance. 

“The Conway NYE display is different in this regard as it is not viewable from blocks away but encourages friends, neighbors and families to gather and interact creating the sense of community for which Conway is known,” Howard explains. “We are excited to give Conwayites looking to stay on this side of the waterway a free option for New Year’s Eve!”
